Load testing of bridges is increasingly becoming popular worldwide for bridge evaluation, due to advantages it offers, when conventional analytical methods cannot capture the capacity of the structure in the field conditions. This webinar will focus on diagnostic load testing and proof load testing to refine the load rating of a bridge. Presenters will discuss types of load tests, give general guidance on when and how to conduct load tests for load rating of a bridge, and how this data can also be used to quantify safety in terms of reliability index.
This webinar is organized by IABMAS-USA Chapter and is co-sponsored by IABMAS and ISHMII. There is no registration fee but registration is required as space is limited. Registration url is given below.
